life {lately} according to iphone ~ v.6

poor liam.  he's down and out with another cold.  seriously, i took him to the day-home on thursday so he could hang out and play with his friends ... and so i could spend the day with averie and make cookies for our cookies exchange.  by saturday he had a fever.  ugh.  i guess better to happen now instead of two weeks from now.  no one needs to be sick on christmas.  just trying to see the silver lining.  it's kinda hard when there is a serious case of lack of sleep going around our house.  sick toddler + baby girl in a growth spurt = one tired mama.  the reality of having two little ones is really kickin' into high gear.  thank goodness for my year long mat. leave.  and coffee.  thank god for coffee.

anyways, my phone has been getting a little full of pic's and thought it was time for another dump.  i introduced liam to his first pair of scissors.  couldn't find the 'melissa and doug' ones that only cut paper.  i so thought he was going to cut one of his fingers off while he was trying to figure the things out.  turns out the only cut he got was from the paper we were using to make our snowflakes with.  i told him there will be many more paper cuts in his life and he responded with "oh i know mommy."  who is this kid?  oh and i figured out quickly that averie doesn't like her bumbo yet.  as the pictures show.  happy and then immediately not happy.
