averie's first week and a bit

wow.  where did the last week go?  i sort of feel like we've been living in a bubble.  our days have been spent napping, feeding, playing and unpacking when we can.  with all honesty i can now say that i am so happy that averie waited until we were moved in to make her debut.  i can't even begin to imagine what it would've been like to move with her here.  instead we've been able to be a family of four in our new house.

we've had a couple outings as a family, and one mommy and averie date.  but other than that we've been laying pretty low and people have been dropping by to see us and meet averie.  kind of nice that we don't have to go anywhere and i can stay put in my yoga pants.  because let's face it, even with rob at home showers are hard to come by.  speaking of, rob's been home for almost three and a half weeks. totally awesome for everyone involved.  liam has loved loved loved having daddy around all day, every day for play time.  but alas, he heads back to work on monday and i get both kids on my own.  i'm half terrified and half excited.  i know that we'll quickly develop our own little routine and things will just fall into place, but there will also be that adjustment period.  whatev's we'll make it work.
