another year, another candle

yup, it's that time of year.  happy birthday to me.  this year i turn thirty-three.  yikes!!

i'm definitely not sad about it.  not even a little.  i love being in my thirties.  i feel like i've paid my dues and now i get to sit back and enjoy the hard work of my twenties.  and let's face it ... some of my twenties was hard work.  all the partying, studying, travelling.  totally hard right?  : )

i'm sad that i won't be enjoying a frosty cold one this birthday, but i do get a fancy dinner out with my handsome husband and some best friends.  i was totally spoiled by my two guys too.  the husband surprised me with photoshop lightroom 4 software.  loving it already.  and liam managed to order two wicked necklaces for me on ebay.  i didn't even know he had an account.  sneaky little guy. seriously what more could a girl ever want?

we're off to the greatest outdoor show on earth.  perhaps you've heard of it?  the calgary stampede started today and we're heading to the grounds to get our cowboy on.
