another reason

i have to admit something.  one of my blog resolutions was to make sure that when i'm blogging is to keep it true to me.  in order to do that then i have to admit that there is one more reason why i wanted to come back and starting writing documenting again.  not that my other reason (blogging because i want to) isn't enough.  there just really is another underlying reason.  i blog because i want to have a place where i can document things that are important to my family and to me.

and this is definitely something important! 

surprise!!  we're going to parents again and liam is going to have a little br-ister (what we're calling baby until we find out what flavour it is).  this was something that was not planned, not even a thought really.  to be honest we were a little freaked out when those two pink lines showed up on christmas eve morning.  can you tell?  i'd been feeling really sick.  really tired.  and was a little late.  it was the husband's idea to pee on the stick.  talk about getting a good christmas present.  i think we hit the jack pot.  although unplanned, we are over the moon excited about adding to our family.  we absolutely. are.

it's just, we had a plan.  i know.  i know.  life isn't a plan.  things happen because they're supposed to and this my friends was supposed to.  truthfully, we are only six months ahead of when we were "planning" to start trying again.  this way we'll be out of diapers six months earlier.  teething will be finished six months earlier.  and liam will get to have a playmate six month sooner.  i am completely freakin' excited for him to be a big brother.  he already points to my tummy when we ask him where the baby is.  i know he has no idea what it means but it's super cute.  also, adding a baby into the mix just makes for a more exciting year.  new house.  new family member.  2012, the year of change.  bring it on.

so there you have it.  my final reason for coming back to my blog.  so i guess that mean every week there'll be a belly update.  i'm just over 9 weeks and totally showing.  no one told me that you show so much faster in your second pregnancy ... and things like morning night time sickness are much worse ... bleck!
